Cynthia Hand is the New York Times bestselling author of thirteen novels for teens, including the Unearthly series, The Last Time We Say Goodbye, The Afterlife of Holly Chase, The How & The Why, and With You All the Way. Course Description

The course will consist of five class meetings, each divided into three sections. The first hour will be spent in a form and theory discussion of novel writing. There will be some required reading for this part. The second part of class will be spent in workshopping novel excerpts from the students. The third part of class will consist of exercises to strengthen how you think about your novel.
